A dynamic family-owned business in Tweed Heads is seeking an experienced Finance Officer to manage bookkeeping and payroll tasks. The role entails reconciling transactions, managing accounts payable, and processing payroll. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in MYOB and Microsoft 365. This is a full-time office-based Role in Tweed Heads.

Your Role & Responsibilities
•Reconcile bank and credit card transactions.
•Manage accounts payable, including data entry, invoice processing, payment scheduling, and supplier account reconciliation.
•Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and compliance.
•Assist in BAS preparation
•Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
•Identify and implement process improvements.
Payroll Administration
•Processing payroll for ~40 employees using MYOB and Deputy.
•Handle payroll-related administrative tasks, including onboarding, superannuation, terminations, payroll tax, and PAYG.
•Resolve payroll queries efficiently.
Office Administration
•Manage and Maintain Microsoft calendars
•General office administration and process improvements and other tasks as required.
•Implement effective time management practices within the team.

•Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MYOB, Microsoft 365 – Excel, Word, Outlook, and general accounting software.
•Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy, organisation, and ability to multitask independently.
