Responsibilities

• Prepare daily bank reconciliations.
• Maintain electronic staff reimbursements portal and process electronic fund.
• Perform accounts payable tasks including invoices, payments, and supplier reconciliations.
• Perform accounts receipting tasks including daily banking, receipting funds, reconciliations and posting journals.
• Perform accounts receivable duties including invoicing, maintaining balances and reconciliations.
• Assist with debt recovery activities to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding accounts.
• Attend to customer service requests and incoming correspondence.

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional to join our Revenue & Expenditure team as a Finance Officer. This varied role will allow you to build on your accounts payable and accounts receivable experience while contributing to the delivery of accurate, timely and customer-focused financial services. Working across both functions on a rotational basis, you will broaden your skills, support Council’s day-to-day financial operations and help deliver positive outcomes for our community.

The role of Finance Officer includes:
