A non-profit community service provider in Darwin is seeking a Finance Officer to manage financial operations. This role involves maintaining financial records, processing payments, and performing reconciliations within a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finance, knowledge of accounting software like Epicor, and strong communication skills. A tertiary qualification in finance or accounting is preferred but not essential. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive hourly pay.
An exciting new opportunity has come available to join ARRCS as our Finance Officer. This position is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis working Monday – Friday, 5 days per week. This role is offered on a salary of $36.75 - $40.10 / hour gross dependent on skills and experience plus salary packaging options.
As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of ARRCS by performing a range of accounting and administrative duties.
This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting both the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Key responsibilities include new vendor screening and setup, customer billing, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and running daily banking reports.
As the successful candidate, you will show evidence of prior experience in finance operations with preference to a myriad of applications including AP, AR and banking. You will have previous use of financial software with preference to Epicor. You will be able to commit to full-time hours and be comfortable on providing advice and solutions to account queries.
