Job summary

Victoria Police in Melbourne is seeking a Finance Officer (VPSG2.2) to join the North West Metro Region's Finance Team. The role supports end-to-end purchasing, invoicing, travel bookings, and financial reporting within a dynamic public service environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in finance or administration, strong attention to detail, and solid computing skills including Oracle and Excel. Flexible working arrangements are supported in line with VPS policies.

Requirements and relevant information:

• One (1) VPSG2.2 full time on-going position available.

• The position is located at the Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands. While this position will have a nominated usual place of work, the position will be required to work at other locations, in accordance with the provisions of the relevant Victorian Public Service Agreement.

• Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or Visa.
• The successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
• Successful candidates will be required to possess a current Victorian Driver Licence and hold or qualify for an appropriate Victoria Police driving authority within three (3) months.
