Job summary

Crystalbrook Collection in Cairns is hiring for a Finance role focusing on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general finance administration. You will ensure accurate processing of financial transactions and provide responsive support across the finance function, contributing to a collaborative team effort.

This role offers an opportunity to build practical finance experience, develop technical capability and advance within a growing hospitality group with a strong emphasis on teamwork

Qualifications

• Qualification in Accounting/Finance would be advantageous.
• Strong numerical ability with accuracy.
• Confident using technology and finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general hotel accounting.
• Processing financial transactions accurately within timelines.
• Reviewing, coding and processing supplier invoices with approvals.
• Reconciliation of incoming payments through credit card and banking processes.
• Support wider finance team with month end processing and reporting.

Join our Finance Team at Crystalbrook Collection in Cairns and play an important role supporting the efficient and day to day operation of our busy Group Finance function with a focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general finance administration.

Working as part of an established and collaborative team, the role ensures financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently while providing responsive support across the broader business.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general hotel accounting
• Processing financial transactions accurately and within agreed timelines
• Review, code and process supplier invoices, ensuring appropriate approvals and supporting documentation are in place
• Reconciliation of all incoming payments through credit card and banking process
• Supporting the wider finance team with month end processing, reporting and general finance administration

• Some previous experience in a similar transactional finance rile is preferred
• A qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline would be advantageous
• Strong numerical ability with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident using technology, finance systems and digital platform with the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively in an environment promoting success
• Availability across a full time, office-based position
