u&u Recruitment Partners is seeking a hands-on Finance Officer to support day-to-day financial operations across transactional finance, payroll and compliance. The role reports to the Group Financial Controller and works closely with the Finance team and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and payroll administration while ensuring accurate records, timely payments and payroll compliance.

Qualificações

• Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Assistant Accountant or similar role.
• Sound knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with reconciliations and general ledger transactions.
• An understanding of payroll administration, including superannuation, PAYG withholding and payroll tax.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, with Microsoft Dynamics experience highly regarded.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities professionally.

Job Details About the client: We are partnering with a growing, Australian-owned business with a significant international footprint to recruit a hands-on Finance Officer. With substantial investment and an expanding portfolio of projects, this is an opportunity to play a key role in supporting the business's financial operations across transactional finance, payroll and compliance, within a growing organisation with exciting plans for the future.

About the role: Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Officer will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, with a mix of transactional finance, payroll administration and compliance responsibilities. Working closely with the broader Finance team and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure accurate financial records, timely payments, reconciliations and payroll compliance. This role will suit someone who enjoys a varied position, takes pride in their work and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
