Job summary

Lyra Technology Group's operating company Newtrend in Perth is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function, ensure accurate reporting and provide strategic financial guidance to support business decisions. Reporting to senior leadership, you will oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, tax and compliance, and partner with business leaders to drive commercial outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in finance, strong communication and leadership, and hands-on ERP and Excel

Qualifications

7+ years in financial accounting or senior finance roles.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting and month-end processes.
Experience providing commercial and strategic financial support to business leaders.
Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership.
Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently on multiple priorities.
ERP systems experience (Business Central preferred).
Advanced Excel and reporting tool proficiency.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

Lead the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, month-end close activities, and compliance with accounting standards.
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including payroll, banking, cash flow management and treasury.
Manage taxation and statutory compliance with external accountants, auditors, and regulators.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance analysis.
Develop and maintain robust financial controls, risk management and finance policies.
Partner with business leaders to provide commercial insights and pricing support.
Drive continuous improvement of finance systems, reporting processes and controls.
