Cafs is seeking a Manager Finance in Ballarat, VIC to lead the Finance team and ensure sustainability of services for community impact. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, payables/receivables and compliance, providing strategic financial leadership across the organisation.

The role requires extensive financial management experience and strong leadership, with the ability to build positive relationships and deliver timely, accurate financial advice.

Qualificações

• Extensive financial management experience.
• Strong leadership capability and stakeholder relationship building.
• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, manage and develop the Finance team, providing coaching and guidance.
• Lead the preparation and delivery of the annual financial report, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards.
• Manage the annual budgeting process and support managers to develop sustainable forecasts.
• Lead and coordinate the annual external financial audit process and maintain relationships with auditors.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journals.
• Ensure compliance with taxation requirements (BAS, FBT and others).
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes for efficiency and compliance.
• Provide high-quality financial advice, modelling and reporting to stakeholders.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and lead strategic thinking and improvement initiatives.
