Job summary

The Andersen Partnership is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant / Finance Manager in Sydney for a newly created 12-month contract built around a CFO-driven finance transformation. You will move from hands-on delivery into leadership, owning consolidations and statutory reporting across multiple entities, with exposure to funds management and real estate finance.

Qualifications

• Solid corporate accounting fundamentals: consolidations and statutory reporting.
• Background in financial services, funds management or deal advisory.
• Lean team environment with incomplete information handling.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Close management accounts across a portfolio of entities.
• Manage audit, tax returns and BAS, all within NetSuite.
• Report directly to the CFO.
• Get across other asset classes outside the core lending book.
• Own consolidations, including running the FY27 year-end consolidation.
• Bring current technical knowledge of accounting standards (AASB 18).
• Operate with autonomy in a lean, fast-moving environment.
