Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking a Finance Manager to lead a three-person finance team and partner with senior stakeholders to drive financial performance. The role covers month-end delivery, analysis, budgeting and planning, and statutory reporting, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification, supported by tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Strong financial and management accounting knowledge, including consolidation, month-end and financial reporting.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and variance reporting, with proven leadership.
• Strong commercial acumen and business-partnering skills to influence stakeholders.
• High standards of accuracy, organisation and accountability with a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Office; TM1 or similar finance systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop three Finance professionals, building capability and a high-performing team.
• Drive timely and accurate month-end activities with internal controls.
• Deliver financial analysis and insights to support performance view.
• Partner with senior commercial and operational leaders for trusted advice.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and planning activities, including variance analysis.
• Oversee financial reporting, period-end accounts, and balance sheet reconciliations.
