Job summary

Redpath Partners is seeking a technically strong Finance Manager to lead group reporting and consolidation across Australia and the US for its high-growth data centre infrastructure business. In this hands-on role, you will partner with the Financial Controller to deliver timely statutory reporting and ensure robust accounting across multi-jurisdictional entities.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly group consolidation across Australian and US entities, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translation.
• Own the group month-end close, including reconciliations, controls and timely reporting.
• Prepare half-year and year-end statutory financial statements, including notes and disclosures.
• Support technical accounting matters and document the treatment of complex and non-routine transactions under AASB/IFRS.
• Lead financial statement quality control, ensuring accuracy, consistency and completeness ahead of Board sign-off.
• Act as a key point of contact for external auditors and coordinate the audit process through to completion.
• Identify and implement improvements across group reporting, consolidation, month-end and financial controls.
• Support the implementation of new accounting standards, including AASB 18.
• Work with finance teams across Australia and the US and partner with senior finance stakeholders.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in managing the group reporting, consolidation, technical accounting and statutory reporting functions across a complex, multi-jurisdictional group.

The role

You will take ownership of the day-to-day group reporting cycle and monthly consolidation, ensuring high-quality and timely financial information is delivered to senior management and the Board.

About you

You will be a technically strong accountant who enjoys working in a hands-on environment and is comfortable taking ownership of complex reporting activities.

This would be an ideal move for a candidate making their first move out of a Big 4 firm, or someone who has already worked with a large business and who has taken ownership over a complex consolidation process.

You will ideally have:

• CA/CPA qualification.
• Strong technical accounting and group reporting experience.
• Experience with consolidations across multiple entities and/or jurisdictions.
• Strong statutory reporting and audit experience.
• Excellent knowledge of AASB/IFRS accounting standards.
• A hands-on approach with strong attention to detail and financial controls.
• Experience operating in a complex or high-growth corporate, investment or infrastructure environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and offshore/international finance teams.
