Job summary

Richard Lloyd Recruitment – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking a Finance Manager for a 6-month temporary leave cover to support a well-known charity across Australia. The CBD-based role is immediately available and pays up to $80/hr + Super.

You will lead a small finance team, oversee financial reporting and month-end processes. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in NFP or government-funded environments and, ideally, exposure to D365.

Qualifications

• Experience as Finance Manager or Senior Accountant in NFP or government-funded environment.
• Broad hands-on finance management experience.
• Immediate availability to start.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 (D365) preferred.

With a 50-year history, our client is a well-renowned NFP that supports marginalised communities all across Australia. With a remarkably stable finance team, they are looking to hire a Finance Manager to cover multiple long-service leaves that are upcoming over 6 months.

The Role

This is a temporary Finance Manager role with a length of approximately 6 months. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Mentor a small finance team
• Financial reporting
• Lead month-end process
• Review/backup AP and outsourced payroll
• Ad hoc modelling requests from program managers
• Acquittals and government grant reporting

Background

To be considered for this Finance Manager role, you should possess the following:

• NFP or heavily government-funded business
• Experience in a broad, hands-on Finance Manager or Senior Accountant role
