Job summary

ERM International Group is seeking a Finance Manager to support day-to-day Australian financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, timely month-end close, and compliance with group policies and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and collaborating with the Global Delivery Centre, Tax, Treasury and Group Finance, you will coordinate month-end activities, review GDC-provided information, and support statutory reporting, audits and controls.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified (or working towards completion).
• 5+ years in financial accounting or reporting.
• Experience coordinating month-end close in a medium or large organisation.
• Strong Excel skills and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly financial close process for Australian entities.
• Prepare and review journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by the Accountants/GDC.
• Prepare monthly management reports and supporting analysis.
• Investigate significant balance sheet and P&L movements and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
• Review payroll journals and payroll reconciliations.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and support accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure Group reporting deadlines are achieved.
• Lead, coach and develop junior team members.
• Support statutory reporting, audits and compliance activities.
