Job summary

Slice group is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to own the finance function’s operating rhythm, including weekly cash and lending cycle, month-end close sign-off, and covenant reporting to our lender.

You’ll manage treasury, financial control, and statutory/tax obligations across the group, including NZ entity setup and leading a remote Philippines-based team; strong CA foundations and cash-flow forecasting are essential.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant CA ANZ or overseas equivalent (ACA, ICAS, etc.).
• 3+ years post-qualification experience.
• Strong month-end close technical foundation and demonstrated ownership.
• Australian BAS, IAS and payroll tax knowledge.
• Exposure to statutory accounts preparation.
• Demonstrated cash flow forecasting ability and modeling.
• Proficient with Xero/NetSuite and Excel/Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Treasury and lender reporting end-to-end for multiple entities.
• Oversee cash across all entities, cash profit reporting and forecasting.
• Own month-end close reviews and covenant reporting.
• Manage statutory, tax obligations and revenue recognition across the group.
• Stand up finance and tax compliance for NZ entity; coordinate transfer pricing.
• Lead/coordinate with the Philippines-based Financial Accountant (remote).
