Job summary

Treasury Wine Estates is seeking a Finance Lead - Ascent based in Melbourne to drive financial governance, forecasting and reporting across global transformation programs. The role partners with the Head of Finance - Ascent to deliver benefits realisation and executive insights within a secondment to June 2028.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, management accounting or transformation finance environments.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, reporting and reconciliation skills, supported by advanced Excel capability.
• Experience establishing or operating financial governance, controls and benefits realisation frameworks.
• The ability to influence and partner effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior leaders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset, with exposure to Power BI or other dashboarding and automation tools highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end, forecast and executive reporting, delivering clear insights, commentary and recommendations for senior stakeholders and governance forums.
• Manage financial governance processes including spend approvals, controls, documentation and audit-ready records.
• Partner with benefit the Ascent workstream leads to track, validate and report on program benefits, ensuring alignment to budgets and business cases.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide transparency over financial performance, risks and delivery progress.
• Identify opportunities to automate, standardise and improve financial tracking, reporting and governance processes.
• Support the Head of Finance - Ascent with ad hoc global finance business partnering activities to support delivery of the plan.

About the Role

2-Year Max Term Contract

As Finance Lead - Ascent, you'll play a critical role in supporting some of TWE’s most significant global transformation initiatives. Partnering closely with the Head of Finance - Ascent, you'll provide financial leadership across governance, reporting, forecasting, benefits realisation and executive decision support to help ensure key programs deliver their intended outcomes. Based in Melbourne, and structured for internal candidates as a secondment to June 2028, this is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, strategy and transformation within a global ASX-listed organisation.

About You

You're a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders to drive outcomes. You combine strong analytical capability with the ability to translate complex financial information into practical business insights.

We're looking for someone with:
