Job summary

Origin Energy is expanding its E-Mobility business in Australia and seeks a Finance & Commercial Analyst to turn financial and operational data into actionable insights, strengthening EV pricing and funding models to support sustainable growth.

You’ll partner across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations and Procurement to translate insights into decisive actions that drive profitability and implement Origin’s EV strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance or similar analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills; build, improve and interpret financial models.
• Strong commercial judgement; identify key value drivers.
• Clear communication; build relationships across teams.
• Degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce/Economics desirable; EV interest; SAP/Salesforce/asset financing experience valued.

Join Origin’s growing E-Mobility business and put your commercial thinking to work in a fast-moving market. As our Finance & Commercial Analyst, you’ll turn financial and operational data into meaningful insights, strengthen EV pricing and funding models, and help shape decisions that support sustainable growth.

What will you bring?

• Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, commercial finance or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to build, improve and interpret financial models.
• Strong commercial judgement, curiosity and a knack for identifying the most important value drivers
• Clear communication skills and confidence building relationships across different teams.
• A relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Economics is desirable, along with an interest in electric vehicles. Experience with SAP, Salesforce or Asset Financing models would also be valued.
