Job summary

TwoScots Recruitment is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to partner with senior leaders across multiple business units, providing insights, driving performance, and embedding finance into operational decision-making.

Reporting to the GM FP&A, the role emphasizes navigating ambiguity, influencing stakeholders, and acting as a trusted advisor to General Managers within a privately owned, high-performing organisation undergoing a finance transformation.

Qualifications

• Background in Big 4, mid-tier, or commercial finance roles.
• Experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, or FP&A role.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling capability.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions.
• Proven ability to influence and engage non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience in transformation environments or project work is highly regarded.

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple business units.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the GM FP&A, this Finance Business Partner role is a key position within a newly built FP&A function. You will partner closely with senior leaders across multiple business units, providing commercial insights, driving performance, and embedding finance into operational decision-making.

This is not a traditional, process-driven role- success in this position comes from your ability to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and become a trusted advisor to General Managers.

You will play a critical role in shaping financial planning, improving business performance, and driving the ongoing evolution of finance within the organisation.
