Job description

Multigate Medical Products (MMP) is one of Australia and New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of procedure packs and medical consumables for public and private hospital markets.

We are currently seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. You will act as a strategic financial advisor to business unit managers, provide analysis, forecasting and modelling to support decision to improve performance and align financial strategies with the company’s goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes for business unit to align with company financial goals.
  • Analyse and report on financial performance by identifying risks, underperformance and opportunities for value added to the company.
  • Creating financial models for new initiatives
  • Provide advice on commercial risk management and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and operational teams to foster collaboration and communicate financial insights.
  • Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Deliver financial literacy training to staff to enhance their understanding of financial concepts and their impact on business outcomes.
About You
  • Demonstratable experience in a similar finance role eg. Accountant, auditor
  • Knowledge of accounting and costing function
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and distribution within medical industry advantageous
  • CA/CPA or equivalent required
  • Exhibits strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills and aptitude for problem solving
  • Auditor experience preferable
