Boeing Defence Australia is inviting applications for a Finance and Accounting Graduate as part of its 24-month Graduate Program in Brisbane. The role offers a permanent full-time position with a strong foundation for your career in aerospace finance and accounting.

You will work on project cost analyses, budgeting, and financial reporting, using tools like Oracle ERP, IBM TM1, Deltek Cobra, and Excel. Eligibility requires Australian citizenship and defence clearance suitability.

Qualificações

• Tertiary degree qualification in one of the specified fields (or anticipated graduation before July 2027).
• Australian citizenship with eligibility to obtain Defence Security clearance.

As aFinance & Accounting Graduateyou will:

• Conduct thorough analyses of project costs and budgets to ensure accurate forecasting and financial planning.
• Leverage accounting tools such as Oracle ERP, IBM TM1, Deltek Cobra, or Excel to track project expenses and generate detailed financial reports.
• Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries, perform account reconciliations to verify the integrity of financial statements and project ledgers, identifying discrepancies and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Oversee the invoicing process for projects to ensure timely and accurate billing, while maintaining compliance with contractual agreements and financial regulations.
• Present complex financial information to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, supporting informed decision-making.
• Collaboratewith a multi-disciplinary team in a conscientious and inclusive manner to support project objectives and enhance financial outcomes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and support the audit process by gathering necessary documentation and data, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Help with accounts payable payment audits by preparing documentation, verifying transactions, and ensuring timely processing of payments to vendors in accordance with financial regulations.

Education

Tertiary degree qualification inBusiness, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or Law (or anticipated graduation before July 2027).

Eligibility

Due to the nature of the work you may participate in, you will need to be an Australian citizen with eligibility to obtain a Defence Security clearance.
