Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a Queensland Government Department to recruit a Senior Finance Analytics Officer in Brisbane with work-from-home flexibility. The contract runs until June 2027 with potential extension, paying AU$82.93–AU$88.57 per hour plus super.

The role focuses on modern BI, cloud analytics, and executive-facing reporting to drive financial decisions. You will engage stakeholders, model data, and deliver Power BI dashboards, while mentoring teams and maintaining a robust BI

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into scalable data structures.
Proven ability to design interactive BI dashboards using Power BI.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms.
Experience with financial management, budgeting and corporate reporting.
Ability to engage with stakeholders and uplift data capabilities.

Responsibilities

Engage with stakeholders to capture requirements and deliver interactive financial reporting solutions.
Architect data models and BI solutions to resolve complex business problems.
Deliver training to uplift stakeholder capability in modern analytics tools.
Maintain and enhance the BI environment for high availability and efficiency.
