Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CA/CPA/CFA a plus)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a finance role
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
• Prepare month-end reconciliations and assist with daily reconciliations and checks
• Prepare working files to support regulatory and Head Office reporting
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
• Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets
• Assist with processing invoices and reconciling vendor accounts
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data
• Participate in process efficiency reviews and ad hoc projects, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Support budgeting processes through data gathering and analysis
• Assist in preparing information for internal and external audits
