Job summary

Scentre Group is seeking a Leasing Finance Analyst in Sydney to partner with the Leasing & Retail Solutions Team. You will support budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for a portfolio of centres, while engaging with stakeholders to guide commercial decisions.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include producing budgets and forecasts, delivering insights on gross rent data, and managing timely, high‑quality deliverables. A proactive, commercially minded mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysis experience.
• Strong stakeholder management with ability to influence across teams.
• Analytical with strong data interpretation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, able to present to financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Exposure to JDE and TM1; advanced Excel is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Financial and Management Reporting - produce budgets, long term forecasts and bi-monthly forecasts for a portfolio of centres.
• Stakeholder Engagement - provide analytical support to internal and external stakeholders for the strategic plan.
• Create Insights and Strategic Analysis - support leasing decisions with gross rent data across centres.
• Managing deliverables - prioritise work, deliver timetabled outputs on time including ad hoc requests from Leasing Executives.
• Innovation - assist with Finance Plan on a Page initiatives aligned to strategic objectives.

Our Leasing Finance team plays a key role within our Operations Finance department, as finance business partners to our Leasing & Retail Solutions team. The Leasing Finance team supports commercial decisions and provides financial insights and analysis to our Leasing and Retail Solutions stakeholders.

As a Leasing Finance Analyst, you’ll be business partnering with the Leasing & Retail Solutions Team by providing financial support to facilitate decision making.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

• Financial and Management Reporting - Produce and review accurate budgets, long term forecasts, bi-monthly forecasts for a portfolio of centres
• Stakeholder Engagement - Analytical support to internal and external stakeholders to deliver on strategic plan.
• Create Insights and Strategic Analysis - Provide numerical support for leasing decisions related to gross rent data across a portfolio of centres
• Managing deliverables - Prioritise work so that regular timetabled deliverables are delivered on time and are of a consistent quality while working on ad hoc work requested from Leasing Executives
• Innovation ‑Support the delivery of a range of Finance Plan on a Page initiative that help Scentre Group achieve its strategic objectives
