Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking a Manager in the CFO Advisory team to play a pivotal role in enhancing Finance functions through advisory services. You will assist in finance function modernisations, support system implementations, and optimise processes to ensure high-quality outcomes for clients.

What you’ll do:

• Finance function modernisation: Assisting the shift from transaction processing to data led insights for trusted decision making
• Process Optimisation: Process modernisation, activity analysis, risk and control design and continuous monitoring
• Finance System Implementation Support: Business Case, chart of accounts design, program management, control design/assurance
• Cost optimisation: Determining operating model and commercial benefits to fund modernisation programs
• Transactional Change: Considering pre or post deal support from governance, accounting, integration and synergy realisation
  
  
  

What we’re looking for:

• At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, external audit or a related field
• Bachelor or equivalent degree
• CA qualification (or equivalent)
• Excellent skills in leading project teams to deliver finance projects or internal improvement activities
• Experience in risk & controls, process optimisation, financial reporting, technical accounting, management accounting or budgeting
• Critical analytical skills including the ability to identify and provide meaningful insights to clients.
• Strong technical accounting skills with experience in applying accounting standards
• Strong attention to detail to deliver high quality reports and presentations to clients, maintaining PwC Risk & Quality guidelines and frameworks
