Job summary

A national law firm in Brisbane is expanding its Finance team. You will keep month-to-month financials accurate and support across the function, including trust accounting and client file billing.

You will handle month-end reconciliation, payables, prepayments, and depreciation, and assist with reporting and cost recharges. The role rewards precision, teamwork, and a proactive, collaborative approach within a busy, professional firm.

Qualifications

• Experience with Queensland trust accounting and investment of trust money.
• Proficient with Aderant, Cognos and NetDocs or similar.
• Background in finance administration in a law or professional firm.
• Bookkeeping experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end tasks including reconciliations of payables, debtors and prepayments.
• Handle trust accounting processes in Queensland context.
• Assist reporting team with cost reports and internal recharges.
• Support billing and client file cost management.
