Job summary

Hubix Workforce Pty Ltd in Sunshine West, Melbourne VIC, seeks hands-on Line Setter and Maintenance Technician with a mechanical mindset to set up, adjust and troubleshoot production machinery. This casual role focuses on filling or packaging lines and aims to keep operations running efficiently.

The successful candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience with automated or semi-automated equipment, and a commitment to safety, quality and GMP standards.

Qualifications

Hands-on line setting and changeovers.
Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Experience with filling/packaging lines.
Commitment to GMP, safety and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

Independently set up and prepare filling and packaging machinery for production.
Perform machine changeovers for different products and packaging formats.
Make mechanical adjustments to optimise machine performance.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and production issues.
Monitor machine operation, filling accuracy and product quality.
Conduct pre-start inspections and assist with production-line startup.
Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance within your training and authorisation.
Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
Follow GMP, safety, hygiene and quality procedures.
