Job summary

Compass Group Australia is seeking a Site Manager for Harmony Gold – Eva Copper, a FIFO role 8/6 or 14/7 roster, servicing a large remote village with catering, cleaning and maintenance operations.

You will lead a multi-discipline team across a remote mining site in NW Queensland, focusing on safety, efficiency and cost control while delivering high-quality services to residents and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in Village Management or Assistant Management roles (remote or hospitality sectors).
• Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships and project deadlines with competing priorities.
• Strong financial and analytical skills in developing budgets and allocating resources to ensure profitability.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to build effective and engaged teams.
• Strong knowledge of Queensland mining safety regulations.

Job description

ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites, gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world, from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback.

Due to unprecedented growth across the east coast remote sector we are looking an experienced Site Manager to take us into our next growth phase at Harmony Gold – Eva Copper, providing hospitality services for approximately 400-1200 residents. Eva Copper is located 75km north of Cloncurry and is poised to become the largest Copper Mine in NW Queensland.

Working with well-regarded clients, the successful candidate will do either an 8/6 or 14/7 roster working 12 hour days and will be fly-in, fly-out ex Townsville or Brisbane, with flights, accommodation and meals included.
