Wilson Security presents an exciting opportunity to join our security workforce by applying for a FIFO position as a Mine Site Security Officer.

We are seeking multiple experienced Security Officers to work in our Northwest portfolio. You MUST be available and flexible to work day and night shifts.

Role Details
  • Location: Perth, Western Australia
  • Casual / Full Time Positions
  • Potential earnings up to $100000 plus super (Potential earnings up to $100000 p.a. subject to availability, hours worked including overtime, classification, and other factors)

Wilson Security is expanding in Western Australia securing additional contracts that strengthen our presence in the Whole of Western Australia. This growth has created new roles within our WA team, focused on enhancing response and support capabilities for our existing teams and clients. These positions are crucial to our success in the region and will be supported by our Operations Team and Duty Managers. They offer the opportunity to work in a response role with a reputable organisation on a permanent basis in the Mining Security Portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Permanent fulltime positions
  • Lifestyle roster – 7 days on / 7 days off
  • Previous experience in a similar role essential
  • Highly safety and security focused, with the ability to think on the go
  • 5 weeks annual leave
  • Above award salary $100000
  • Monitoring site activity, identifying irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons or unusual occurrences
  • Respond to incidents in a calm and confident manner
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Exceptional reporting skills
  • A high level of personal presentation and conduct
  • The ability to work in a team
  • The ability to comply with all policies and procedures
Who We Are Looking For
  • Experienced guards with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
  • Current and valid WA Security licence
  • Current and valid WA “C” Class Driver's licence
  • Must hold current valid First Aid and CPR
  • Ability to walk and stand and sit for long periods of time
  • Excellent and proven Computer and Administration Skills
  • Full, unlimited right-to-work in Australia
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
  • Commitment to workday and night shifts, as well as weekend and public holiday shifts
