Job summary

Downunder People seeks a FIFO Remote Area Nurse for Indigenous health in Arnhem Land. You will work across clinical, community and outreach settings, delivering primary and emergency care while coordinating chronic disease management and maternal/child health initiatives.

Essential AHPRA registration and RN experience in Indigenous communities are required; strong communication and computer skills are a must. Accommodation and flights are provided as part of a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required.
• Experience as a Registered Nurse in Indigenous health settings is essential.
• Excellent communication with Indigenous communities is expected.
• Proficient with electronic patient databases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver primary and emergency health care in remote communities.
• Manage chronic disease and health promotion activities.
• Support maternal and child health programs and youth services.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in Arnhem Land.
