Job description

PHE Mining is seeking an experienced underground Operator to join our team on a fixed term project contract basis. This role will be based at a remote mine site in the Northern Territory on a 2 & 1 roster, 12-hour days. We encourage candidates willing to fly in and fly out (FIFO) of Brisbane, Perth, Darwin or Alice Springs on a direct charter flight to the project site to apply.

PHE is an Industrial Electrical Contractor that undertakes large scale projects in regional and remote areas nationally. The role involves safely transporting, loading and unloading plant and equipment around site to support to our electrical construction teams to prepare for the electrical and instrumentation installation of an underground hard rock mine.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Work as a plant operator at an underground gold mine in the NT
• Working for an electrical contractor with a crew of electricians, operators & TAs
• Operate a Tilt Tray/HR vehicles
• Operate a telehandler
• Safely transporting, loading and unloading plant and equipment around site.

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous underground mining experience
• Experience operating a telehandler
• Experience with HR trucks - tilt tray or similar
• Commited to maintaining our sfety culture
• Flexible attitude to work with all our crews
• Is able to pass a full medical and fitness test

You will hold or obtain the following

• HR truck licence
• High-Risk Work Licence – with WP (& CN preferred)
• Telehandler ticket
• White Construction Card
• Working at Heights (current within 18 months)
• Hold or be able to obtain a National Police Check
