Job summary

Guerrilla Maintenance Services is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers for a mining and construction project on a 2/1 roster with FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns. You will perform mechanical fit-outs, safety guarding, pipework, structural steel and fabrication on a Gold Mine site.

The successful candidates will have trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter, a minimum of 2 years site experience (mining highly regarded), and be willing to pass D&A testing.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter(s) required.
• Ability to problem solve in remote locations.
• Coal Board medical or MMQSHRS.
• Minimum 2 years site experience (mining highly regarded).
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork.
• Ability to pass D&A testing and meet site requirements.
• Valid Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical installation and fit-up works.
• Safety works, including guarding installation.
• Pipework, structural steel, platework and fabrication.
• Working from drawings, plans and job packs.
• Maintaining high safety and quality standards.
