Job summary

Core Talent Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join a permanent FIFO team across Pilbara mine sites. The role suits applicants with scrap metal, recycling, demolition, or clean-up backgrounds and proven excavator and material-handling skills.

Key tasks include operating tracked excavators and material handlers, performing oxy cutting, and contributing to mine site clean-ups across major Pilbara sites.

Qualifications

• Excavator ticket is essential.
• Strong experience operating excavators.
• Experience with material handlers such as Sennebogen is valued.
• Experience with grabs, magnets or scrap handling equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate tracked CAT excavators and Sennebogen material handlers on mine sites.
• Conduct oxy cutting and other hands-on tasks.
• Contribute to mine site clean-ups and demolition projects as required.
• Work across Pilbara mine sites on FIFO roster (2 weeks on / 1 week off).
• Maintain safety and pass medical and police clearance as needed.
