2113 North Ryde Pablo & Rusty's Coffee Roasters
Job View: Private
Let’s start with the perks:
A little about you
You love coffee! You’re the person who sees content and storytelling opportunities everywhere.
You walk into a busy cafe and instantly spot three reels, two customer stories, and a TikTok idea.
You’re equally comfortable behind the camera, in front of it when needed, editing content on the fly, writing captions that actually sound human (yep, calling out the AI slop). You know AI is a powerful tool that can be harnessed and used to get great effect.
You love storytelling. You understand trends but know not everyone is worth chasing. You’re creative, curious, organised, and always thinking about how to turn real moments into engaging content.
Most importantly, you get excited about helping a purpose-led brand tell meaningful stories and did we mention, you MUST LOVE COFFEE!
About Us
Pablo & Rusty’s is a specialty coffee roaster based in Sydney, with a mission to positively impact people and the planet through coffee.
We’re proudly B-Corp Certified, Carbon Neutral Certified, and 1% for the Planet members meaning we donate 1% of our revenue (not profits) to partners charities tackling the impacts of climate change. In short, we’re committed to using business as a force for good.
From cafes and cafe partners to our Athome coffee community, our sustainability projects and innovations, there’s always a story worth sharing.
That’s where you come in.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Social Storyteller to create, capture, and share content across our digital channels.
This is not a desk-bound social media role.
One day you’ll be filming at our roaster in North Ryde, the next you’ll be capturing stories from our cafes or cafe partners, going behind the scenes on a product development, interviewing a team member, covering an event, or creating content around our sustainability and impact initiatives.
You’ll own the day-to-day social storytelling of the brand, helping bring P&R work closer to its community.
Because we’re big on transparency, let’s cover the numbers because it’s important to you. This is a contract role to begin with. An hourly rate ranges from $35-$45 per hour, depending on your skills and experience. We’ll land on the right number once we’ve had a chat and seen what you can do.
For the right applicant we plan on this role evolving to become a permanent member of the Team with career growth and opportunities to match.

Send us your resume, portfolio and a short note (in any format, written, video, claymation – jokes) telling us:
What’s the best brand account (think storytelling) you follow on social media right now, and why?
For what it’s worth. We’re far more interested in seeing your creativity and storytelling ability than a perfectly polished CV.
Let’s make great coffee stories together.
