Job summary

Early Start Australia is seeking an Experienced Registered Assessment Psychologist (FIFO) in Australia. The role focuses on new client assessments, goal-based therapy plans, and reporting within funding frameworks.

You will collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, provide feedback to families, and support children’s development across settings. The position offers flexible hours (part-time or full-time as needed), involvement in travel to remote sites, and opportunities for ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in solution-focused therapy and early intervention.
• Ability to engage with children and families and external stakeholders.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform new client assessments using referrals and questionnaires.
• Conduct standardised and informal assessments (e.g., WPPSI, WISC, WRAT, WRAML, ADOS, MIGDAS).
• Provide timely feedback to clients and families and confirm therapy needs; complete and issue reports within two weeks.
• Develop goal-based therapy plans and monitor progress; provide home/school activities and resources.
• Ensure compliant reports and align therapy with funding models (NDIS).
