Job summary

RSGx is actively seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to join the Perdaman project on a FIFO basis from major Australian cities. You will perform installation, termination and testing of electrical and instrumentation cabling, and support commissioning activities on a large-scale energy project.

Ten-hour days and a 20:8 roster are in place. You will work with engineers and supervisors to ensure drawings and specifications are met, complete ITRs, and comply with Australian Standards

Qualifications

• WA Electrical license is mandatory.
• LVP/CPY within 12 months of issue.
• Provide First aid certification.
• Working at heights training completed.
• HRWL – EWP competency is required.
• White card for construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and instrumentation installation to drawings and work packs.
• Install, terminate and test electrical and instrumentation cabling.
• Carry out cable pulling, routing, glanding and identification.
• Install conduit, cable tray, ladder and supports.
• Install lighting, outlets, isolators and switches.
• Commissioning support and read/symbol diagrams.
• Complete ITRs and project quality documentation.
• Identify defects and assist with punch-list closeout.
• Maintain safety, permits, LO/TO and housekeeping on site.
