Job summary

ISS is recruiting for Housekeeping Supervisors on a 2:1 roster, with DIDO and FIFO arrangements available across Mackay, Emerald, Rockhampton and Brisbane regions. You will coordinate daily housekeeping operations, uphold service standards, and lead a team to deliver safe, high-quality environments for clients.

• Minimum 2yrs proven management/supervisor experience in housekeeping and cleaning services.

Responsibilities

• Implement and control the department budget.
• Implement and review service standards.
• Assist the Human Resources team in the recruitment and selection of team members.
• Ensure effectiveness of training, performance evaluations and counselling of staff for the department.
• Ensure a strong interface with Front Office and other managers as required.
• Provide leadership, support and coordinate site staff in maintaining a customer focused and safe working environment.

The opportunity:

We are recruiting full‑time Housekeeping Supervisors on a 2:1 roster. Candidates may be based in Mackay, Emerald, Rockhampton and surrounding regions on a DIDO arrangement, or in Brisbane and surrounding suburbs on a FIFO arrangement.

Working closely with the Village Manager, you'll be responsible for coordinating and managing the day‑to‑day operations of our Housekeeping Department while proudly upholding ISS’s reputation for excellence.

Key Duties

• Provide leadership, support and coordinate site staff in maintaining a customer focused and safe working environment.

To be considered:

• Minimum 2yrs proven management/supervisor experience in housekeeping and cleaning services.
• Polished presentation and communication abilities.
• Proven leadership skills and a strong decision‑making capability.
• Lead by example and model behaviours that underpin a constructive safety culture.
• Confident user of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
• Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
• Must have a valid police check issued within the last 12 months or be willing to obtain one.
• Must pass a Pre‑employment Medical Test, Functional Assessment and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
• Driver's License/ Photo ID required.
• Demonstrate a proactive, solutions‑focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
