Job summary

Impactdrillblast is seeking highly skilled driller professionals for our North WA Mining operations. You will execute column and collar drill holes with precision, maintain logs, and perform pre-start checks to ensure efficiency and safety.

The role requires a Certificate III in Drilling Operations or equivalent experience, familiarity with Sandvik DPi or Pantera rigs, and the ability to work in remote environments while meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in blast hole drilling operations or a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.
• Familiarity with remote work environments is advantageous.

• Execute column and collar drill holes with precision drilling, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
• Maintain meticulous daily drill logs, perform pre-start checks, and manage time sheets efficiently.
• Cultivate a safety-centric approach while surpassing production forecasts.
• Regularly utilize safety tools such as Take 5 assessments and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
• Maintaining rigs in impeccable condition, ensuring they are clean, organized, and primed for operation.
• Diligent reporting of maintenance issues and meticulous record-keeping of consumables.
