Job summary

Furmanite in Australia is seeking a hands-on technician to support on-site and workshop scopes of work. The role involves assisting the Lead Technician and, when required, the Base Supervisor with daily job allocations while maintaining a daily diary.

The successful candidate will work as part of a team, ensure cleanliness in work areas, promote Furmanite solutions, and comply with the AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 quality system and company policies.

Qualifications

• Fitter/turner or fitter machinist experience relevant to the role.
• Trade certificate is highly preferable.
• Current Australian driver's license required.
• Construction Card is required.
• Ability to work onshore, offshore and remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Technician in on-site and workshop scopes of work.
• Provide assistance to the Base Supervisor with daily job allocations when needed.
• Work as part of a team and assist fellow employees.
• Complete and maintain a daily diary.
• Maintain cleanliness in the workshop and on site.
• Promote Furmanite services, products and solutions.
• Comply with the Quality System per AS/NZS ISO 9001:2000 and company policies.
