Job summary

Kotzur Silos seeks a Field Maintenance Technician to join our Toowoomba team, supporting Kotzur Maintenance Services (KMS). You will perform scheduled maintenance, breakdown services and site repairs to silos and conveyors, ensuring minimal downtime for agricultural and industrial customers.

The role involves field work, client interactions and regular travel. Trade qualifications are preferred; however, experience in mechanical fitting and repair is valued. Pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified preferred but not essential - Fitter, Boilermaker, or other mechanical trade.
• Great with clients.
• Ability to regularly travel for work, typically away from home 4 nights per week, most weeks.
• Must be able to demonstrate experience in mechanical fitting, repairs and maintenance.
• Attend or work from site in the Toowoomba factory (Kotzur) as needed.

KOTZURis growing. We are a progressive engineering/fabrication business with factories based inToowoomba QLD, and Walla Walla, NSW.

With clients all over Australia and overseas, we specialise in supplying and maintaining bulk solids storage and handling facilities for the agricultural, industrial and commercial sectors; specifically silos and grain handling equipment.

We are seeking an energetic, customer focused technician to join ourToowoomba basedteam as a Field Maintenance Technician, assisting with the operation of Kotzur Maintenance Services (KMS).

You will be executing scheduled maintenance programs that minimise downtime during critical periods, as well as breakdown services and site repairs.

By undertaking field work and providing comprehensive condition reports on silo and conveyor equipment, you will play an important role in supporting our customers operations.

Typical work includes but is not limited to:

• Bearing inspection and replacement
• Adjustment of belts and chains
• Trouble shooting and repairing feed augers, conveyors and bucket elevators
• Repairing and replacing chutes
• Minor installation work

Key Responsibilities:
