Job summary

nbn is looking for a Customer Field Technician in Mount Gambier to perform installations, repairs and maintenance across technologies, with a strong emphasis on customer service. The role involves working independently, setting up customer equipment, and ensuring customers feel supported throughout the process.

Hours are 7am–7pm with flexibility; full training and tools are provided. A current, clean Driver’s Licence and commitment to safety are essential for success in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience is valued, trades or technical backgrounds encouraged.
• Ability to solve problems while working with customers.
• Clear communication with customers and teammates is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installations, repairs and maintenance across nbn technologies.
• Install copper or fibre cabling and set up customer equipment.
• Identify faults and guide customers through the process with confidence.
• Operate independently while supporting customers in homes or small businesses.
