Job summary

Orica is seeking a Specialist – Technology Support based in Perth, Australia, with a Monday–Friday roster and travel to sites across Australia (25–50%). The role focuses on delivering and implementing Orica’s Digital Solutions, including ACS, BlastIQ and FRAGTrack, on customer sites.

You will be a subject matter expert, provide hands-on project management support, and train customers and internal teams to ensure successful deployment and operation of on-site technologies.

Qualifications

• Safety mindset is essential and must align with Orica's priority on safety.
• Ability to solve problems and perform root cause analysis on equipment, OS and software.
• Hands-on experience assembling, installing or supporting field technologies.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting IT/OT (Networking desirable).
• Proven success in coordinating and implementing similar projects.
• Mining experience, especially drill and blast, is advantageous.
• Ability to train stakeholders in classroom or remote settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication with high customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Scoping customer operations to identify the right Technology Solution.
• Project managing the on-site implementation of Technology Solutions.
• Delivering software installations and equipment assemblies on customer sites.
• Training stakeholders to operate and maintain technologies.
• Contributing to product development and improvements.
• Providing subject matter support for customer queries and product stewardship.
