Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Field Support Technician to deliver hands-on and remote IT support across Australia and New Zealand. You will troubleshoot PCs, networks, and devices, manage incidents, and guide users through IT policies while coordinating with regional teams.

The role requires at least 2 years of experience with Windows OS and Office suites, plus strong English communication, time management and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in supporting Windows OS in a large corporate environment (50+ users).
  • Minimum 2 years in supporting Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Video conferencing experience (Zoom, Teams).
  • Active Directory and account creation experience.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and incident management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day IT support by phone, onsite and through administration tools.
  • Troubleshoot PCs, applications, networks, mobile devices, printers and video conferencing equipment.
  • Inventory management and hardware setup (including image cloning).
  • Visit regional offices and support weekend or overnight work when required.
  • Incident ticket management and IT training for users.

Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000 per annum

Help keep our people connected, productive and confident with their workplace technology. As a Field Support Technician, you will provide practical deskside and remote support to CBRE technology users across Australia and New Zealand.

You will troubleshoot everyday technology issues, guide users through solutions and share clear advice on IT policies, procedures and good practice. This role suits a service-focused technician who can organise competing priorities, communicate technical information clearly and work effectively both independently and with a team.

About the role
  • Provide day-to-day IT support by phone, onsite and through administration tools.
  • Troubleshoot PCs, applications, networks, mobile devices, hardware, printers and video conferencing equipment.
  • Inventory Management
  • Mobile Device support including smartphones and tablets.
  • Manage incidents and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Package and install client software, prepare hardware and complete PC setup and image cloning.
  • Support server-room patching and deliver IT training to users.
  • Hardware Support including repairs with vendors.
  • Incident ticket management
  • Printing environment maintenance
  • Client software packaging/installing.
  • Hardware kitting, PC setup (image cloning)
  • Visit regional offices and support weekend or overnight work when required.

About you
  • Minimum 2-year experience in supporting Windows OS in a large corporate environment. (At least 50+ users)
  • Minimum 2-year experience in supporting Microsoft Office Suites
  • Video Conferencing (Zoom, Teams)
  • Active Directory and Account creation
  • Server Rooms and Patching
  • Good knowledge on ITIL
  • Experience with Service Now and Beyond Trust is highly regarded.
  • A can-do attitude is a must
  • Good time management
  • Must have the ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent written and spoken English is a requirement for the role.
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to stakeholders.
