Job summary

City Greening is seeking a Field Supervisor to guide a dedicated team in planting and maintaining trees, gardens and landscapes across Newcastle. You will plan and coordinate horticultural, arboricultural and landscape works, lead with positivity, organise resources and promote safety while supporting staff and contractors.

Step into a role where your leadership helps co‑create a greener, more vibrant Newcastle. As a Field Supervisor with City Greening, you’ll guide a dedicated team in planting and maintaining the trees, gardens and landscapes that bring our streets, neighbourhoods and public spaces to life.

You’ll plan and coordinate high quality horticultural, arboricultural and landscape works, lead your team with positivity and purpose, organise resources, champion safety, and support staff and contractors. You’ll also respond to community enquiries and help create welcoming, sustainable spaces across our region.

Remuneration: $81,757.73 + 17.5% annual leave loading yearly payment + 12% Superannuation per annum for a 38-hour week
