Job summary

MPC Kinetic’s Well Servicing division is seeking an experienced supervisor for a 14/14 roster in Australia. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in drilling or completions and about 5 years in leadership, with a track record of improving processes and equipment performance.

You will mentor Rig Managers and crews, ensure compliance with permits and documentation, and uphold high HSE standards while coordinating with clients and stakeholders in the onshore oil and gas sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years drilling or completions experience.
• Approximately 5 years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and drive process and equipment improvements across MPK to improve team performance and reduce wastage of resources or time.
• Develop and coach Rig Managers/crew on people and equipment handling, ensuring documentation and maintenance planning are compliant and to reduce NPT.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, potential clients and existing clients.
• Ensure legislative requirements and permits are valid and up to date.
• Plan new equipment builds effectively and ensure project controls are used.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety & environment management.
• Monitor and report on rigs and subcontracted equipment/personnel performance.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, design specs, owner’s standards and regulations.
• Work a 14/14 roster.

MPC Kinetic’s Well Servicing business provides well servicing solutions to Australia’s onshore oil and gas sector, utilising some of the world’s most innovative, purpose-designed, truck-mounted service rigs.

Responsibilities

To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated and able to show initiative. You MUST have a minimum of 10 years drilling or completions experience with approximately 5 years supervisory experience. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Identify, and drive process and equipment improvements across MPK to improve team performance and reduce wastage of resources or time.
• Develop and coach Rig Mangers / crew members on people and equipment handling, assuring that documentation processes and maintenance planning is conducted effectively to ensure compliance and reduce NPT.
• Create and maintain strong relationships and clear lines of communication with key stakeholders, potential clients and existing clients.
• Assure that the legislative requirements and permits are valid and in date.
• Ensure that all new equipment builds are planned effectively, and project controls are effective and utilized fully.
• Ensure that the highest standards of health, safety & environmental management are implemented.
• Monitor and report on rigs and subcontracted equipment / personnel performance.
• Monitor equipment work for compliance with engineering drawings, design specifications, owner’s standards & statutory regulations.
• Ability to work a 14/14 roster
