Job summary

FLSmidth is seeking a Field Service Technician in Adelaide to deliver expert service on KREBS pumps, cyclones and valves. You will be on-site with customers across South Australia and beyond, backed by a specialist team, balancing workshop and field work to ensure equipment performance.

You will bring a trade qualification and field service experience in mining, with strong safety and customer-service focus, plus willingness to travel interstate as required.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in field service or maintenance in mining or mineral processing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Willingness to travel interstate as required.
• Strong customer service and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair pumps, cyclones and valves on customer sites and in workshop.
• Attend breakdowns and planned maintenance activities to maximise equipment availability.
• Conduct equipment inspections and produce detailed service reports.
• Support installation and commissioning of PCV equipment across SA and interstate.
• Prepare, refurbish and test equipment in the workshop when not deployed in the field.
• Collaborate with PCV Service Engineers & Sales Managers to resolve technical issues.
• Champion safety compliance on every job and uphold safety standards.
