BearCom is seeking a Field Service Technician II to install and support wireless communications systems. You will be the heart of service locations, delivering expert installations and responsive support to customers, with a focus on RF equipment and reliable communications.

Formación

• 5+ years diagnosing, repairing, programming, and installing Motorola/Kenwood/ICOM/Vertex gear.
• Strong 2-way radio theory and RF propagation knowledge.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Experience with MS Office and basic TCP/IP networking.
• CET certification a plus; journeyman within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Create mid-level programming codeplugs (12+ channels, trunking, multiple zones).
• Install and service wireless equipment (UHF/VHF, 800/900 MHz, dispatch consoles, DAS/BDA).
• Recommend equipment meeting customer requirements.
• Travel regionally and on-call hours may be required.

Electronics background

Proficient with test equipment

IP networking

MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Valid Driver's License

Security clearance readiness

Educación

Associate degree in Electronics Technology

CET Certification a plus

Journeyman level within 6 months
