Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root is seeking a Hydraulic & Mechanical Service Technician to service fuel dispensing equipment across North Brisbane including North Lakes, Mango Hill, Redcliffe and Caboolture. Travel to customer sites in a company vehicle, hands-on maintenance and repairs, with focus on safety and compliance.

You should bring mechanical, hydraulic or diesel experience, the ability to work independently, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with hydraulic, mechanical or diesel equipment.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Current driver's license.
• Commitment to working safely.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair fuel dispensing equipment and associated systems.
• Diagnose faults and perform mechanical and technical repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Calibrate, test and troubleshoot fuel pumps and systems.
• Complete service reports and required compliance documentation.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing GVR professionally.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
