Active Forklifts Australia is seeking a driven Field Service Technician to service forklifts and access equipment across client sites in Australia. You will diagnose, repair and maintain units, delivering excellent customer service and coordinating with the workshop and other techs as needed.

The role offers a fully maintained vehicle, uniform, and access to extensive training resources, with additional perks like gym discounts and counsellor support.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background with interest in servicing forklifts and heavy equipment.
• Experience or willingness to work on forklifts, access equipment or automotive systems.
• Desirable knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues on forklifts and access equipment.
• Provide repairs, maintenance and diagnostics across customer sites.
• Deliver strong customer service and manage your own patch.
• Assist in workshop repairs and help other service techs as required.
• Participate in after-hours on-call service per policy and agreements.
• Service and repair various forklift models and access equipment.

What You'll Do:

• Diagnose and trouble shoot software and hardware issues.
• Provide various repairs, maintenance and diagnosis on a variety of equipment across various customer sites, ensuring great customer experience and safe repairs.
• Demonstrate customer service and communication skills while looking after your own customer patch.
• Be able to assist in repairs of units in the workshop and assist other service techs as required.
• Participate in our after-hours on call service roster for any after-hour issues in accordance with company policies and industrial agreements.
• Servicing and repairs on various sizes and models of forklifts and access equipment.

What You'll Bring:

• You will have a mechanical background, ideally having worked on forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive. If you have experience working with hydraulics and or pneumatics, that's highly desirable. We're looking for Technicians who have a positive attitude to work, enjoys servicing and maintenance work and is willing to go the extra mile and become a valuable member of our Active Forklifts Australia team.
