Job summary

JLG Industries is seeking an experienced Field Technician to join our Queensland team, servicing the Central QLD area with responsibilities for maintenance, repairs and breakdown attendance on elevated work platforms and related equipment.

You will work independently with support from the Field Service Coordinator in Brisbane, travelling to customer sites and ensuring paperwork and compliance are completed promptly.

Qualifications

• Must hold a mechanical trade qualification relevant to elevated work platforms or heavy equipment.
• Experience on access plant or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's licence.
• Must have own basic tools.
• Ability to diagnose faults and solve problems with attention to detail.
• Must pass pre-employment medical.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, inspecting & repairs of equipment such as EWP’s, lighting towers, telehandlers, and the occasional hydraulic hoses & small diesel engines.
• Be available to travel including overnight accommodation when required.
• Responsible for completing all appropriate paperwork and inspection forms required by JLG policy, ANZ Standards and customer and/or site requirements in a timely manner
• Conduct Van audits and stock take
• Visiting existing and new customers in your region
• Cold Calling in your region
• General admin and ad hoc duties may be required from time to time

JLG Industries are seeking an experienced Field Technician to join our Queensland team servicing around the Central QLD area. You would be responsible for carrying out services, repairs and attending breakdowns on elevated work platforms, lighting towers, telehandlers, forklifts and small construction equipment such as mini dumpers.

In this role you will be able to organise your days independently with support from the Field Service Coordinator in the Brisbane Branch.

Qualifications include:

• MUST have mechanical trade qualification - elevating work platform technology, heavy vehicle, diesel, automotive, auto electrical.
• Previous mechanical experience working on access plant or heavy equipment
• MUST have a valid driver's licence
• Must have own basic tools
• MUST have attention to details, diagnostic & problem-solving skills
• Successful applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment medical
