Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation in Melbourne is seeking self-motivated HVAC technicians to join a global OEM team with exposure to in-house product training on chillers and Building Management Systems (BMS).

You will troubleshoot, test repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems and other commercial equipment, taking ownership of issues and ensuring delivery excellence while contributing to sales growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• High level of communication skills (oral and written).
• Knowledge of quality assurance procedures.
• Experience with HVAC systems and components.
• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
• Air-conditioning and refrigeration Supervisors licence.
• Current and valid Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Routine troubleshooting.
• Testing repairs and maintenance on air conditioning systems, chillers and other commercial equipment.
• Taking ownership of problems and following through to resolution.
• Focusing on high standards of quality, delivery excellence whilst exceeding customer service expectations.
• Involvement in growing our sales, increasing our market share and growing the net profitability of our company.

About The Role

Working for a global Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) you will be provided with a range of exciting opportunities, including exposure to our in‑house product training with Chillers and Building Management Systems (BMS).

Key Responsibilities

• Routine troubleshooting
• Testing repairs and maintenance on air conditioning systems, chillers and other commercial equipment
• Taking ownership of problems and following through to resolution

We are looking for self‑motivated individuals who are, proactive, professional, punctual, well presented and possess a can‑do attitude.

As a Minimum You Must Have

• A high level of communication skills (oral and written)
• Knowledge of quality assurance procedures
• Experience with HVAC systems and comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems and components
• Cert 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Air‑conditioning and refrigeration Supervisors licence
• Current and valid Australian driver's licence

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Training/experience from OEM highly regarded
