Job summary

WesTrac is hiring Heavy Diesel Mechanics – Field Service in regional Western Australia. You will diagnose, repair and maintain Caterpillar equipment across mine sites and ports, working independently in the field with a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified heavy diesel/mechanical fitter with field service expertise.
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills in CAT equipment.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork in remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform field-based diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Caterpillar equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in the field.
• Service fleet including haul trucks, loaders, graders, dozers and ancillary gear.
• Deliver safe, high-quality outcomes and exceptional customer service.
